What is Epiduo?

Epiduo is an effective treatment for acne and helps to reduce the appearance of spots such as blackheads and whiteheads. It contains two active ingredients, Benzoyl peroxide and Adapalene.

Epiduo is a dual action gel. Benzoyl peroxide is an antimicrobial agent which fights bacteria which lead to formation of spots. It also helps to remove dead layers of skin which trap oils and bacteria which cause acne. Adapalene has “retinoid-like” action which reduces inflammation and reduces redness and swelling associated with acne.

Effects of Epiduo can take upto 4 weeks before visible differences and clearer skin is seen. Regular use will help to prevent future outbreaks of acne.
Epiduo is applied once a day in the evening to the entire acne affected areas of the face and trunk.
Epiduo should not be used:
  • if you are pregnant or planning to have a baby
  • if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.
  • if the skin is damaged or broken, sunburnt or affected by eczema
